At last, at last, we get four today from Jinxy, all write ups and there are two TRT selections as well!! Lets go for it today........

4.45 Chepstow. A competitive affair and the two I'm concentrating on for trading purposes are Grey Gold and Eastlake, both will trade. Grey Gold is in fine form and the more rain the better but at the prices its the Jonjo O'neill trained Eastlake just gets the vote. Over this sort of distance Eastlake has a cracking win record of 5/7 and has shortened up in running in all 26 career races to date and like Grey Gold wont mind it if more rain is on the agenda. He has the added advantage of Raymond O'Brien taking off 3lb, a good jockey who has done most of his riding in France but had a winner for this stable at Southwell  on Thursday. Eastlake is available to back at a drifting 14/1 (15.0) at the Bookies and at a much bigger drifting 18.5 on the Exchanges.

Well I'm having a go at both of these....Eastlake is still drifting but I'm in and have taken 22........Grey Gold is on a big drift and I've taken 15...........will try and make at least £50 on each........Grey Gold down to 9.8 before the off £51 profit, - GREY GOLD WINS AND A MASSIVE BONUS OF £347 made but made a loss of £68 on Eastlake for a lovely profit of £289

2.40 Doncaster. The stepping up in distance has been the making of Richard Faheys Emerahldz  with the filly making the frame in all eight races since being upped to nine furlongs plus and since being given a mark has been available to trade in all nine of her races. She could still be on the up judging by her second place at York in this grade last time out, she won't mind the going  even if it rains more as she has won on heavy. Available to back at 8/1 (9.0) at the Bookies and  at a drifting 9.4 on the Exchanges.

Best I could get was 9.2..........went on to a low of 5.1 in running, took my trade before that but still made a nice £52

3.30 Newbury. Ennistown has a major chance here. The Godolphin gelding won at Pontefract last time out (second year running) and a 3lb rise for that win looks fair enough to me. His hold up style of running means that we may have to wait until late to get our trade but the advantage here is that he will trade higher in running and this being a 10 furlong race you may well have the opportunity to back him higher after five furlongs or so and still have time to lay him off lower when Adam Kirby asks him to make an effort. (traded as high as 38 when winning last time out and has traded higher in running for all five of his wins to date) He has won on soft and his trading record overall when soft is mentioned in the going is 4/4.  Available to back at the Bookies at a slightly drifting 3/1 (4.0) and at  4.5 on the Exchanges.

4.5 snapped up here...........lovely job, traded to around 1.9 and evens for big money....I chickened out here earlier than that though but still made a profit of £77

6.45 Wolverhampton. Charlie Appleby is a trainer who knows the time of day and he teams up again with Adam Kirby here with another Godolphon owned horse in Pretend. Charlie has a good strike rate of 24% at the course and Kirby an excellent 26% strike rate for the stable. Pretend won his maiden in emphatic fashion on Kemptons all weather last year and then was beaten less than four lengths in a competitive Class 1 race at Meydan in February.  Available at the Bookies at a drifting 7/2 (4.5) and bigger on the Exchanges at a drifting 5.9.

Still drifting........7.8 taken so 5.1 or less needed to complete a good days trading.........easy as can be, went to an odds on 1.6 in ruuning, could have made more but traded out just to make my £50 profit.

A lovely days trading and a profit of £400.

The two TRT selections off to a good start with the first one winning.
